Law 4 : Equipment

A player must not use equipment or wear anything which is dangerous to himself or another player (including any kind of jewellery).

The basic equipment of a player is – a jersey, shorts (if thermal under-shorts are worn, they must be of the same main colour as the shorts), stockings, shin-guards, and footwear.

Each goalkeeper wears colours that distinguish him from other players, the Referee and the Assistant Referee.
